What Are Chartered Physiotherapists?
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession concerned with human function, movement and maximising potential. It uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical and psychological well-being taking account of individuality.
Modern Chartered Physiotherapists use a wide range of skills including manipulation, mobilisation, massage and exercises, often aided by the use of sophisticated electronic and electrical apparatus all designed to help in the relief of pain and to promote healing. Chartered physiotherapists will spend time teaching ‘you’ the patient how to avoid a recurrence of your problem.
Many Chartered Physiotherapists have developed additional skills. We like to think we are no exception. Our areas of specialisation include;
• Sports Injuries
• Back/Neck pain
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Exercise Prescription
• Treatment of Osteo-arthritis
• Injuries resulting from road traffic accidents
• Peripheral Joint Injuries
We have free customer parking directly outside the clinic.
